Emily Brauer Rogers’ play THE PAPER HANGERS, an adaptation of “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, will be performed at Stages Theatre in Orange County beginning March 7. For tickets or more information, click here. 

Desiree’ York is directing IN THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW by Katherine Cortez which opens March 6 and runs to March 21 at Grand Central Theatre in Santa Ana for tix:  https://artstickets.fullerton.edu/TheatreManager/1/login?event=1336.  She also has a reading of her new play HUMAN(E) at Pasadena Playhouse on April 4 for tix: https://www.pasadenaplayhouse.org/event/mach33/

Mark Sherstinsky will have his holiday horror radio play NO TREE produced by the nationally-syndicated radio program Shoestring Radio Theatre in March; the play will also broadcast live on KXSF radio (102.5FM) in San Francisco.   Mark’s immigration apocalypse play THE SOUND OF INVASION will be part of the Towne Street Theatre 10-Minute Play Festival from April 4-26.

Tahmus Rounds just appeared in 911 LONESTAR, and recently finished shooting a beautiful short film called MEOW MEREDITH.

Ivan Rivas will be directing the original play with music  “GOING DOWN” at the 2020 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Stephanie T. Keefer can be seen in the sci-fi rom com A GIRL, A GUY, A SPACE HELMET on Amazon Prime.

Jonathan Josephson‘s DOSTOEVSKY was named a Finalist for the Performing Arts Bonita Springs’ Stage It! 10-Minute Plays Competition and will be produced later this year. The play will also be published in Stage It! 4, due out this spring (his THE HUNGRY CHURCHYARD was included in Stage It! 3). Also, Jonathan’s LA LLORONA a riff on  Las Lloronas was recently produced at Natrona County High School in Casper, WY.

Julianne Jigour is excited to be working with the Trap Street performing arts collective to remount DARKNESS COMES ALIVE, an audio tour of neon artist Lili Lakich’s studio. On March 21 and 22, enter a strange world of neon light, hidden in the middle of the Arts District. More information and tickets to come on the Trap Street site.

Daniel Hirsch’s play HUMAN RESOURCES was accepted to the Great Plains Theatre Conference where it will be workshopped this spring. 

Lauren Gorski will be moderating a panel at the AWP Conference in San Antonio, Texas called From Page to Stage: How to Write a Play That Will Actually Get Produced on Saturday, March 7th at 9:00am. She will also be facilitating the opening poetry readings for The Rape Kit, a hybrid musical and poetry performance, in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 13th at 8:00pm. In the Bay Area, Lauren will be the keynote speaker for the Be Fearless Summit at UC Berkeley on Wednesday, April 1st.

Victoria Goring is celebrating daughter’s one month of remission! 

Allie Costa‘s play LOW LIGHT, which began at PlayGround-LA, will be produced March 27th-29th at The Broadwater in Hollywood as part of INK Fest. Her play PULSE will have its world premiere at the 365 Women a Year Festival March 26th-April 4th in Texas. Swing by www.alliecosta.com to learn more about these and other projects!

Diana Burbano’s POLICARPA will receive its premiere production at Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania later this month.
