Mildred Inez Lewis‘ “WE DREAMED OURSELVES” will be produced by the Dragon Eggs Short Play Incubator in the Bay Area. Her short play ECLOSION will be published by NextStage Press as part of Little Black Dress Ink’s ALICE IN QUARANTINE collection. In February, she celebrated her one year anniversary performing with Angel City Improv. Her short play, JAB, CROSS, HOOK, on female boxing, will be presented in the March 8 Monday Night PlayGround, directed by Demetrius Wren and featuring his wife, Christina Wren and Julio Hanson.

Carla Vega (She/her) is a multi-disciplinary performing artist based in Los Angeles, with roots in San Francisco. Latest news: Carla is the creator of “Grandma’s Hands”, an innovative multimedia solo show available for bookings now. She is a recently published poet in the best-selling anthology, “2020: The Year That Changed America”, available on Amazon & Amazon Kindle. Carla is also the audiobook narrator for Crystal Maldonado’s new YA Novel “Fat Chance Charlie Vega”, which made it’s debut early February and is an editor’s pick on Amazon. She is a back-up vocalist for Nobuko Miyamoto’s latest American Folk/Protest music compilation “120,000 Stories”, available at Smithsonian Folkways Recording. Also, award-winning short films, “PLANET” & ‘FIRECRACKER” are available to view on Amazon Prime for free. Carla believes in the power of the arts to heal, touch the heart of our humanity, inspire a deeper connection to our personal stories & ancestries, ignite compassion and create positive social change. Allie Costa has a recurring role on the new series My Big Fat Blonde Musical, which is now streaming. She also plays a sweet little puppy on the new podcast The Kit Bull Story. She recently performed in a virtual comedic play and is currently in rehearsal for a new dramatic musical. Many of her scripts are currently in rehearsal or pre-production, including She Has Seen the Wolf and In the Heist, both of which began at PlayGround-LA. Jennie Webb‘ s full length SPACE AVAILABLE will be presented as part of The WORD at the Road beginning Monday, March 29th, 2020 at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET directed by Mia Y. Anderson. Featuring Cherish Monique Duke, Audrey Cain, Janet Chamberlain, Ruman Kazi, and Krishna Smitha, SPACE AVAILABLE is a play about a woman’s place and what (& who) we let define us. Christina Wren is currently part of an FYC campaign in the Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Daytime Fiction Program as JP Cutler in the drama series, LA Macabre (Amazon Prime). Evan Baughfman is co-producing Force of Nature Productions’ WEE LEPRECHAUN PLAY FESTIVAL, an evening of short fantasy stories written by Southern California kids.
