Forrest Hartl produced his son’s first film, Black Hand Reaper, which won Best Narrative Short at the Eau Claire International Film Festival.
Evan Baughfman‘s story, POND PERSON, set on a frozen pond on Xmas morning, will be published in “‘Twas the Fright Before Christmas in Deathlehem,” the newest holiday horror anthology from Grinning Skull Press. All proceeds from the purchase of this book will be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. More information about the “Deathlehem” series is available here.
Sylvia Cervantes Blush is packing all her warm clothes for her LORT debut with the Dallas Theater Center. She will be directing Karen Zacarías hysterical and timely comedy NATIVE GARDENS. The short film she edited and had a supporting role in debuted in two film festivals, one of which won BEST NARRATIVE for young writer/director Henry Wolfgang Hartl.

Allie Costa recently wrapped some fun films and voiceover projects that will be released next year. She also played lead roles in developmental readings of three new musicals and was hired to record a song inspired by “Stranger Things”. Uma Incrocci‘s play ‘Okay Lorax‘ (from this October’s Playground) was featured at The Barrow Group’s First Friday readings. She also appears in Episode 6 of the new season of “The Mysterious Benedict Society” on Disney + and as the voice of an Italian street racer in the just released video game Need for Speed: Unbound.
Arthur Keng is currently shooting a major role in a new AMC series starring Bob Odenkirk, based on the best-selling novel “Straight Man” by Richard Russo. You can also hear him voicing the lead in the English dub of the Japanese Netflix drama “First Love”, recently featured in Variety.
LECTRA, Mildred Inez Lewis‘s commissioned adaptation of Sophocles’ Electra begins rehearsals in Asheville, NC with A Different Myth. Her full-length play /kom’plisit/ has been published by Broadway Play Publishing after receiving a staged reading in November from Moving Arts.
Rhea MacCallum‘s play Christmas In Columbine recently premiered at UpStage Napa Valley in St. Helena, CA.
