Debba Rofheart is Peter Quince in Open Fist Theatre Company’s production of Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMERS NIGHTS DREAM. Directed by James Fowler, and set in Athens, Georgia in 1855. Allie Costa recently appeared on Behind the Screens. She has a recurring role on The Kit Bull Story, which just got picked up for a third season. She can be seen singing and dancing in A Musical, the latest release from Tilted Keyboard Studios. Four of her scripts were selected for The 28 1/2 Hour Comedy Festival, produced last month in Texas. Evan Baughfman‘s spooky novella, VANISHING OF THE 7TH GRADE, is now available through D&T Publishing! What VANISHING is about: “Nobody can explain why Sophia Kershaw’s classmates have disappeared… Does it have something to do with the arrival of their strange new 7th grade teacher? At first, Mz. (“not Miss, not Mrs., not Ms.”) Salem is playful and kind, but the woman becomes increasingly sinister as her students begin to vanish on their way home from school. Diana Burbano announces the New York Stage and Film, beginning its summer season in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, July 9, which supports more than 35 new stories for theater, film and television. The First Play Reading Weekend on Saturday, July 9 features Nuestro Planeta: A Colombia Project by Diana Burbano and devised and directed by Elisa Bocanegra at 3:30 PM.
