Evan Baughfman‘s sci-fi/horror play, THE WOLF MAN: 2092, recently premiered at Midsummer Scream horror convention. Force of Nature Productions presented the play as part of a preview of their September show, “Tales from Tomorrow: Origins”! which features reimagined origin stories for classic Universal monsters. Mildred Inez Lewis‘ /kom’plisit/, a full-length drama inspired by Ghislaine Maxwell, will receive a staged reading from the wonderful folks at Moving Arts this November.

In collaboration with the Fire This Time Festival and Watts Village Theater Company, Center Theatre Group (CTG) has recently commissioned Tahirih Moeller, along with five other woman-identifying or non-binary Black playwrights, to write an original play over the next two years for their Not a Moment, But a Movement initiative.

Sylvia Cervantes Blush just returned from the very hot Dallas Theater Center’s auditions for Karen Zacarías’s NATIVE GARDENS and isn’t cooling down as she moves into rehearsals for the world premiere of Lily Rushing’s (Genízaro) hauntingly poetic DESERT STORIES FOR LOST GIRLS.
